Cabbage Sesame Salad

  • 2 cups finely-sliced green cabbage
  • 1 or 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • A few nice lettuce or Asian green leaves
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar


Marinate the cabbage with the onions and parsley in the oil-honey-vinegar mixture for at least 10 minutes in the refrigerator. Serve with a slotted spoon, placing individual portions on a nice bed of green lettuce leaves. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.  Serves 3.
